During high winds on the shore where your chair would go flying away if you were not sitting on it, I noticed a couple sitting under their beach umbrella. We remarked that no other umbrellas could handle that wind. They told us it was called a Windbrella, got it from Hammacher Schlemmer in New York, but we could Google it and find them on several websites. They did’t bother with sunblock, but rather sit under the umbrella for UVA/UVB protection and it stays much cooler under the windbrella. I Googled “Windbrella” and found several sites from which to order it. I just returned from Ft. Myers Beach (July heat) where I sat under my Windbrella feeling quite cool and comfortable. I ordered 2 because while 2 can sit under one Windbrella, to lay down on a lounge chair, only 1 person can fit. Our property manager was so impressed with how light weight the Windbrella is and how it can withstand the winds, that he is ordering them for his properties he manages. When the winds are too strong, he has to go out on the beach and take down the umbrellas…not with the “Windbrella”!

I bought this picnic table with umbrella for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party and it was a hit with the parents and kids. I have a picture of seven kids sitting and eating lunch at the table and we could have easily fit one more child at the table. There were 6 two year olds and a seven year old all sitting together. I would recommend this table, it was fairly easy to put together (we had two people put it together in about 45 minutes).
